Currently, this temple is believed to be the largest shrine for Sri Muneeswaran in Southeast Asia. The temple, which began as a religious centre for Hindu residents of Queenstown, has since developed a social role as well. It is active in organizing services such as match making and counseling.

Blossoms by the Park Neighbourhood
Queenstown is a planning area and satellite residential town situated on the south-westernmost fringe of the Central Region of Singapore.
It borders Bukit Timah to the north, Tanglin to the northeast, Bukit Merah to the east and southeast, as well as Clementi to the northwest and west.
Well connected by both the Circle line and East-West line, Queenstown is home to many research facilities such as Biopolis, Fusionopolis and Mediapolis. Nearby, corporations like Reuters Singapore, DSO National Laboratories and the Defense Science & Technology Agency all have facilities on the Singapore Science Park. Many schools including Anglo-Chinese Junior College, Fairfield Methodist Secondary School, CHIJ St Theresa’s Convent School, Queensway Secondary School, Singapore Polytechnic and Management Development Institute of Singapore lie along Dover, Commonwealth and Queenstown train station. Not too far away, the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) can be accessed by Kent Ridge and One-North station respectively. Besides Alexis, Queens, The Marbella, The Trizon, Dover Parkview and Parc Imperial, more citizens will be able to join the neighborhood with the completion of residential projects such as The Village and Commonwealth Towers. For more convenience, Haw Par Villa and Pasir Panjang stations are also located here.
One-north is a subzone and business park spanning 200 hectares of lush green grounds, in the Master Planning area of Queenstown. It was developed as a cluster of R&D hubs for the media, biomedical sciences, and info-comm technology (ICT) sectors.
It was conceptualized as far back as 1991, master-planned by Zaha Hadid Architects, and officially launched in 2001. One-north is envisioned as a “global talent hub” to foster innovation and entrepreneurship, so as to spearhead Singapore’s knowledge-based economy.
One North is also located near other major educational and research institutes in this part of Singapore. Such as the ESSEC Business School’s Asian campus, the National University of Singapore, INSEAD, the Singapore Institute of Technology, and the Singapore Science Parks. Besides being a “science hub”, another goal here was to create a community wherein locals and expatriates alike could gather to live, work, and relax together. To that end, it has become not just another government project, but one where the private sector has played a role, in catering social and recreational facilities for those living and working here.

Blossoms by the Park Review · Summary
Blossoms By The Park Location is the most desirable and sought-after for tenants and home stay buyers.
Slim Barracks Rise is a thriving hub of innovation for biomedical and media industries.
Blossoms By The Park is certainly very accessible by public transport. It is about 400 metres, or a 5-minute walk, to Buona Vista interchange station on the East-West and Circle MRT lines. Both the East-West and Circle lines are useful to be on. The East-West MRT line runs the full length of Singapore, spanning the CBD and ending at Changi Airport. The Circle line joins every other line, so only requires one change to get everywhere.
Blossoms By The Park accessibility enjoys quick and easy access to and from a major expressway. Five minutes drive, 2 KM down North Buona Vista Road, is the nearest exit to the Ayer-Rajah Expressway (AYE). From there it is less than 15 minutes drive to the CBD and Marina Bay. The AYE also provides seamless connectivity to the rest of the expressway network.
Supermarkets, F&B, Shops, Banks, Services
Blossoms By The Park is rather self-sufficient in this respect. It is really like a small self-contained village, with all the necessary amenities to be found in the neighbourhood. Whether it be groceries or dining out, or for services or recreation.
A whole range of lifestyle offerings and dining options have sprouted up all over one North, to cater to its growing workforce. Here one can find supermarkets, an upmarket grocer, cafes and bistros, wine shops, salons, yoga classes and gyms, and even a chiropractor.
The Star Vista mall which opened in 2012 next to the Buona Vista MRT station, further contributed to the buzz. Aside from its many lifestyle and F&B outlets, it houses the Star Performing Arts Centre. This is a 5,000-seat auditorium, making it one of Singapore’s largest, and hosts a variety of concerts and performances.
All these, together with Rochester Mall and its shops, restaurants, and enrichment schools, compose the Vista Xchange cluster. They go a long way towards helping one-North meet its “live, work, and play” aspirations.
