The Interchange:

The Clementi Bus Interchange bus stop get located in a Clementi residential neighborhood. Interchange, a transport hub for commuters traveling into and out of the city that connects with Clementi MRT station along the East-West MRT Line, provides easy transfers between the train network and the many bus routes at the interchange. The sixth Integrated Transport Hub (ITH) to open in Singapore was Clementi Bus Interchange, which opened in November 2011. The previous five ITHs were Toa Payoh in May 2002, Sengkang in January 2003, Ang Mo Kio in April 2007, Boon Lay in December 2009, and Serangoon in September 2011. The interchange combines retail, residential, and transportation facilities under one roof by Clementi Mall (a shopping mall) and the HDB Clementi Towers residential apartments.A bus park gets located in the middle of the interchange’s single vehicular concourse area. The vehicle entrance is along Clementi Avenue 3, and a separate exit connects to the avenue through a signalized traffic intersection. Clementi Mall and the exterior of the building are both accessible by pedestrian entrances and exits.

Three feeder bus services:

Service 282 (Clementi Avenue 5), Service 284 (Clementi Avenue 4), and Service 285—were initially offered by Clementi Interchange (Pandan loop). After being introduced to Clementi West Street 2, Service 287 was eventually discontinued and combined with Service 282 in 1988.2009 saw the introduction of Service 284M, an expansion of the off-peak Service 284. With the inauguration of the new Clementi Interchange, it gets discontinued. It provided direct bus connections from Clementi Avenue 4 to the Clementi Polyclinic and Clementi MRT before returning to the Clementi Temp Int.

Government Contracting Model:

In June 2016, Tower Transit took over management of Services 96, 173, 282, 284, and 285 from SBS Transit/SMRT after winning the tender for the Bulimia Bus Package under the Government Contracting Model (GCM) in 2015.
