Our school’s positive core is its “kampung spirit,” which has existed since its inception in 1985 in the Marsiling/Woodlands area. Students at Fuchun Primary came from all walks of life, including the Causeway, and succeeded in their studies and lifestyles. The Fuchun Primary School will enter a new phase of development in 2022. We seek to become better together as a loving, resilient, and forward-looking school community, leaving no one behind, as we recognize the importance of Covid-19 on education. Our school values – Passion for Learning, Integrity, Empathy, Respect, and Resilience (P.I.E.R2) – will guide us in creating caring and enabling school and classroom environments to meet the changing needs of our students and staff.
Co-curricular Programs:
Co-curricular activities play an essential role in our kids’ education. Students gain values and competencies that will equip them for a quickly changing world while discovering their interests and abilities via CCA. They study, play and develop together. CCA fosters friendships among students from many backgrounds. CCA encourages social integration and strengthens students’ feelings of belonging, dedication, and duty to their school, community, and country. Fuchun Primary School has 16 CCAs to cater to and develop the interests and abilities of our students. CCAs provide students with opportunities to engage with their peers outside of the classroom, which helps to enhance their social-emotional skills in various situations.

School Philosophy, Culture, and Ethos:
Fuchun Primary School, which has been in operation for almost 30 years, is located in the center of Woodlands. The school believes that every learner is a confident leader who positively affects others via the school values – Respect, Care, Perseverance, Responsibility, and Integrity – and accepts social and cultural diversity, as expressed in its vision and purpose.
The schedule of learning:
In keeping with the school’s goal, ‘A Concerned Leader, A Lifelong Learner,’ the school strives to build a learning community that will enable our students to achieve holistically and focuses on aesthetically developing them. Students get multiple opportunities to perform in front of an audience through termly music competitions and public art shows. They get trained to become confident performers who can demonstrate their abilities in various settings, including class contests and recess Art Jam sessions. The Fuchun Home Skills Program is a flagship program. This curriculum consists of instruction on fundamental culinary and sewing skills tailored to the preparedness, motor abilities, and s students’ interests. Pupils learn to be self-sufficient and independent through this curriculum. The Home Skills Programme’s seamless integration of English, Math, and Science allows students to engage in genuine learning outside of the classroom. Hands-on exercises allow students to review or understand ideas.
