Fuchun Primary School
Everything you need to know about the Fuchun Primary School
Our school’s positive core is its “kampung spirit,” which has existed since its inception in 1985 in the Marsiling/Woodlands area. Students at Fuchun Primary came from all walks of life, including the Causeway, and succeeded in their studies and lifestyles. The Fuchun Primary School will enter a new phase of development in 2022. We seek to become better together as a loving, resilient, and forward-looking school community, leaving no one behind, as we recognize the importance of Covid-19 on education. Our school values – Passion for Learning, Integrity, Empathy, Respect, and Resilience (P.I.E.R2) – will guide us in creating caring and enabling school and classroom environments to meet the changing needs of our students and staff.
Co-curricular activities play an essential role in our kids’ education. Students gain values and competencies that will equip them for a quickly changing world while discovering their interests and abilities via CCA. They study, play and develop together. CCA fosters friendships among students from many backgrounds. CCA encourages social integration and strengthens students’ feelings of belonging, dedication, and duty to their school, community, and country. Fuchun Primary School has 16 CCAs to cater to and develop the interests and abilities of our students. CCAs provide students with opportunities to engage with their peers outside of the classroom, which helps to enhance their social-emotional skills in various situations.
