Fuhua gets founded on July 18, 1941. It all started as a rural school on Upper Jurong Road, not far from where Nanyang Technological University now stands. It gets created by a group of public-spirited villagers who get motivated to give a considerable education to their children. It was previously known as Fu Hua Public School. Mr. Ho Kah Leong, the then Member of Parliament for Jurong, formally launched the current structure in 1986. Between 2002 and 2003, the school underwent PRIME, and the new facility gets dedicated on November 20, 2004. In 2021, Fuhua Primary School celebrated its 80th birthday.
English, Mathematics, Science, and Mother Tongue Language are the departments found in Fuhua Primary School. InfoComm Technology, PE/CCA/Aesthetic, National Education, Pupil Well-Being, Environmental Education, and Holistic Assessment are the other departments of Fuhua Primary School.

The CCA Program at Fuhua offers students a variety of opportunities to explore their interests and abilities. Our pupils will prepare for a lifetime of sports and curricular aesthetics that promote balanced and healthy living. We establish communities and strengthen links across socioeconomic and cultural divides to work for a healthier future. Our CCA program attempts to instil in our children a lifelong passion for a particular activity, such as a sport or musical endeavor. It enables our pupils to have a balanced adult life. Students might grow in character and value their time at CCA.

The school badge is beige and chocolate brown. The earthy colors represent the dignity of labor and the development of a proper attitude toward our hands. The entire design gets encased in a ring, and it represents the school’s strong character: working together as a team in unity, harmony, and continuous growth and development.

All students must wear their name badges on their school shirts/blouses and PE clothes. After ironing the name tag, stitch the border for added durability. A school shirt or blouse should have the name tag on the left side, 1cm above the boy’s breast pocket. Name tags should wear somewhat above the school crest.
- PE T-shirts shall wear with school PE shorts or culottes during house practices and on specified PE days.
- T-shirts for PE should tuck in.
- PE T-shirts get worn in the colors of the House.
- A school shirt or blouse should have the name tag on the left side, 1cm above the boy’s breast pocket.
