Hwi Yoh CC provides locals option to pick up a life-saving skill through its recognised First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course. Children interested in Japanese manga might enrol in a manga drawing class.
The Hwi Yoh Community Centre provides residents of the Ang Mo Kio GRC and Yio Chu Kang SMC free legal consultations on the last Tuesday of the month. A multipurpose hall currently built as part of the CC’s expansion. Upon completion, badminton street soccer and Sepak Takraw players will have access brand-new facilities. By the end of 2009, the new addition anticipated to complete.

Recreational Folk Dance (Elementary)
Through dance, you may improve your flexibility, balance, and gait! Specially choreographed and modified versions of hops used in recreational folk dancing. It combines traditional folk dances from different ethnic cultures around the globe. Join us to get moving and learn about many cultures through the art of dancing.
Piano Grade 1
The curriculum modelled after those of reputable, international music colleges, which permit local music schools to schedule exams for participants. The following international music colleges have provided the examiners:

Chinese Exercises for Fun via Creative Movement
In this lesson, we’ll give our young students a brand-new method to enjoy the fun of orchestrated musical play in Chinese. They will actively participate in enjoyable movement exercises while playing and learning Chinese. Make learning fun for the small one’s circle, dancing; puppets, scarves, and parachutes will incorporate into the lessons with children’s action rhymes and fingerplays. Through theatre, our young students will exposed to a wide variety of fun and memorable Chinese songs and rhymes that will stick with them for life and instil a good attitude toward learning Chinese. As a result of their enjoyment, they won’t even be aware that they are learning Chinese!
