A bus transportation facility called the Joo Koon Bus Interchange found in Joo Koon, Singapore. It is a component of the Joo Koon Integrated Transport Hub along the Joo Koon MRT station and FairPrice Hub (ITH). The facility situates near the Joo Koon MRT station at the intersection of Joo Koon Circle and Benoi Road.
It housed on the ground floor of NTUC FairPrice’s FairPrice Hub. Joo Koon Bus Interchange has glass walls that allow customers to see the bus bay and air conditioning. The concourse’s walls are orange with white fusions. It is one of the tiniest bus interchanges in Singapore three sawtooth boarding bays and eighteen parking spaces.
Along with the East West line’s extension to Joo Koon, the interchange first announced in 2006. Joo Koon Bus Interchange intended to ease traffic congestion at the Boon Lay Bus Interchange and increase accessibility to the Tuas area. The LTA increased the capacity of the nearby roads to enable smooth traffic flow around the facility. Minimise disturbance to commuters junction started operating on November 21, 2015, in three phases. It is Singapore’s eighth air-conditioned bus interchange. On June 18, 2017, Tuas West Extension opened, and services 256 and 258 were combined into route 258, bringing the total number of services in the interchange down to 7.
An Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), Joo Koon Bus Interchange serves the Pioneer and Tuas industrial zones and is situated along Joo Koon Circle and Benoi Road. The start date was November 2015. The interchange, which integrated into the retail area of the Fairprice Hub mixed-use complex and a direct connection to Joo Koon MRT Station, is Singapore’s eighth air-conditioned bus interchange. The Singapore Discovery Centre, Army Museum of Singapore, Kartright Speedway, and Arena Country Club are close-by public amenities. Joo Koon Bus Interchange’s anchor operator at the moment is SBS Transit. The future operator of the Jurong West Bus Package will take over as the anchor operator of this interchange with implementation of the Bus Contracting Model (BCM).
On the first level of FairPrice Hub, there is a bus station Joo Koon Bus Interchange. The interchange, which connects with Joo Koon MRT Station along the East-West MRT Line, serves as a transportation hub for workers travelling to and from the Jurong and Tuas Industrial Estates by providing easy access to the rail network and a variety of bus services. The eighth Integrated Transport Hub (ITH) to open in Singapore was Joo Koon Bus Interchange, which structurally finished by the end of 2014 but opened in November 2015. The intersection integrated into FairPrice Hub, the 16-story headquarters of NTUC FairPrice, which also incorporates an adjacent 9-story distribution centre for the grocery chain and offices on the higher floors.

There are two vehicle access points. Buses can approach from Benoi Road (heading north) by a single access road, and Joo Koon Circle can reach via another entrance and exit same time. The bus interchange has at least 18 parking spaces. Multiple entries from the mall lead to Benoi Road and Joo Koon Circle, and a connecting bridge on the second level connects commuters directly to Joo Koon MRT Station.
