Leisure Park Kallang is a shopping and entertainment complex in Kallang, Singapore. It serves the Stadium MRT station and is within the Tanjong Rhu prosperous network. 

History

Leisure Park Kallang was 1982 the country’s first purpose-built entertainment complex. It had a bowling alley, a three-room theatre, and an ice rink when it finished. It serviced the crowds following numerous events at the National Stadium, and its popularity peaked in the 1990s. When the development of the MRT Stadium began in 2002, the mall’s appeal declined. After the company’s fortunes deteriorated, it was finally to Jack Investments in 2003. It closed its doors for renovations in 2004.

In 2007, the renovation of the mall got completed, and classics such as the six-screen Filmgarde Cineplex, Kallang Ice World, Koufu Food Court, Cold Storage Supermarket, and Kallang Bowl bowling alley. With the recent inauguration of Stadium MRT and Kallang Wave Mall in the renovated National Stadium, Kallang Amusement Park has become more accessible. They gave the lease of the level 4 of the mall to non-profit groups in 2014.

It hosted the Singapore Sports Automobile Club’s monthly meetings and the OfficialSECS Meet The Rides car events. The first Singapore Motor Festival took place on April 27, 2019, at Kallang Carpark and lasted three days. The festival was an annual event but was canceled to the parking park’s closure later that year.
