Midpoint Orchard will be examining a variety of strange malls spread throughout Singapore in our series on obscure malls. We will inspect Midpoint Orchard this week. A shopping centre called Midpoint Orchard is situated next to Centrepoint and directly across from 313@Somerset. Midpoint Orchard is not getting as much attention as other malls in the area, despite being positioned just along Orchard Road. When you’re on Orchard and right in front of the bus stop where bus 14 gets off, it’s hidden, which is quite an accomplishment.

History of Midpoint Orchard:

One of the more enigmatic malls on Orchard is Midpoint Orchard since no one knows when it will finish. Try researching it, please. The mall briefly gained notoriety in the 1990s for speciality hobby shops selling toys and cameras. Hobbyists frequently frequented the location, but the gaming community (Magic cards, miniature war games, etc.) stayed the longest and is still present at Games@PI today. At its height, students and adults of all ages would play games while sitting outside in the hallways. Midpoint Orchard, on the other hand, has attracted more beauty and nail salons over the past ten years because it is one of the few locations in Orchard that is cost-effective for such small companies. When you enter these establishments, you’ll repeatedly see the same faces of devoted customers who frequently have weekly appointments that are simple to maintain because of the stores’ convenient locations. Dry towels from one of the beauty salons were the cause of the fire.

• For shopping, good eating, seeing a movie, banking, and grocery shopping, tenants, can visit adjacent malls like 313 @somerset, Orchard Central, The Centrepoint, Orchard Plaza Mall, and Concorde Shopping Mall, and many more. You may head to Marina Bay, around 10-15 minutes away, for more shopping options.
• Visit the respected eateries along Orchard Road for additional eating alternatives to please your palate. The closest supermarkets are Ntuc Supermarket at 111 Somerset and Cold Storage at The Centrepoint.
• You can seek medical advice at the neighbourhood General Practitioner Clinics, Mt Elizabeth Medical Center, or Tan Tock Seng Hospital, which offers specialized healthcare services to the locals.

It is ideally situated close to main roads and public transportation, making it unique in its class. Somerset is 0.55 kilometres distant and is the closest MRT station. Dhoby Ghaut and Orchard MRT stations are two nearby MRT stations. Numerous bus services are available in this area. You can get to the Orchard Shopping District and the Central Business District in under five and ten minutes, respectively, by car. You can travel to work or play without worry because expressways like CTE and AYE get readily connected to every area of Singapore.
