On June 18, 2002, the Nee Soon South Community Club Building at 30 Yishun Street 81 finished. Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, November 16, 2003. Nee Soon South CC is a three-story structure with a floor space of 5,333 square metres that was once a void deck CC situated at Block 838 Yishun 2. The Nee Soon South Community Club aspires to serve as the primary hub where locals congregate and communicate. To establish a close-knit society and strengthen community ties among residents, it also intends to organise more engaging classes and events to engage a larger group of Nee Soon South inhabitants.
The Nee Soon South Community Club is situated next to the Khatib MRT station in the bustling Khatib neighbourhood centre. The CC, housed under a void deck in Block 838 Yishun 2, now has a three-story facility with amenities like a multi-purpose hall with air conditioning, a badminton court, a karaoke room, a dance studio, a theatertte, and a culinary studio. The CC provides monthly hot meals to needy residents way gives back to the less fortunate. The CC began a community gardening project in 2008 to entice locals of all ages to collaborate to construct lovely roadside gardens in the neighbourhood.
The CC’s amenities include a multi-purpose room with air conditioning, a badminton court, a karaoke room, a dance studio, a theatre with retractable seats, and a kitchen. The community will be more vibrant thanks to the various courses and activities that CCMC plans to offer its residents. We seek to promote a spirit of mutual aid and concern among everybody, where we care for one another and experience a sense of belonging to the community with the help of volunteers who have given their time and effort.

Nee Soon South CC upgraded to SLEB-compliant dementia-friendly and close to Khatib MRT Station. Fulfil the sustainable aims translate the building into a healthy, energy-efficient and intelligent building will use passive and active green design technology. Green building solutions will improve a building’s efficiency, cutting energy use by more than 50%. The structure will equipped with intelligent energy management systems, which use technology to limit the energy used by lighting and plug loads or devices hooked into outlets. Nee Soon South CC will also include dementia-friendly amenities to aid the elderly in navigating the building better fulfil the needs of the inhabitants. These include use clear signage with large, easy-to-read fonts and the zoning of places in the CC according to colour.
