What to Know About Oasis Terraces

Oasis Terraces is an integrated development near the Oasis LRT station in Punggol, Singapore. The Punggol Polyclinic, a retail area with restaurants and shops, a community plaza, and a rooftop community park are all part of the development, created by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) and was part of a new generation of neighborhood centers.

Oasis Terraces, along with Northshore Plaza, was one of two new neighborhood centers in Punggol that the Housing and Development Board (HDB) announced in October 2015. Built next to the waterway, work on it started on August 22, 2017, and gets finished in June 2018. The building’s gross floor area is 295,000 square feet (27,400 m2), of which 193,750 square feet (18,000 m2) get used for retail space over five stories, and the remaining four levels are home to the polyclinic.


The Oasis Terraces mall, situated across the Punggol Waterway, features a covered community plaza and a dedicated walkway that runs the length of the structure and links to the waterway. Additionally, covered walkways link the mall to the Oasis LRT station and other apartment buildings.

Punggol Polyclinic

The Punggol Polyclinic, which opened on November 24, 2017, is Singapore’s 19th polyclinic overall and the 10th in the SingHealth organization. The polyclinic provides X-rays, physiotherapy, podiatry, and women’s health services with outpatient medical care. The polyclinic was also the first in the nation to pilot an automated pharmacy and an after-care program specifically for pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus.

Rise & Grind Coffee Co

Numerous solutions are available to quell an empty stomach, so do not panic if you are hungry. A tiny cafe with intriguing fusion cuisine is Rise & Grind Coffee Co, originally from Bukit Timah. The Pulled Pork Benedict, Tom Yum Seafood Pasta, and Sweet Potato Fries with Mentaiko Mayo are notable examples.

You can also check out other options if fusion food is not your thing. The well-known Crystal Jade group’s casual Cantonese restaurant Dim Sum Inc. The menu at this diner-style restaurant is smaller than one may often find at a Crystal Jade restaurant, but the food quality is still excellent. Don’t forget to try their rice bowls and noodle meals, and the har Kau and chee Cheong fun.

Lau Wang Claypot Delights 

Since it opened at Oasis Terraces, it has seen long lines from customers seeking its classic clay pot treats. If you can visit during the week, they tend to be busy on the weekends and have high wait periods. They’ve been in business since 1985, so you know the food won’t let you down. Must-tries include their famous herbal frog-leg soup, handmade ngoh hiang, and sesame chicken clay pot. The soup contains a hearty herbal broth and a lot of frog flesh.


This Japanese eatery takes the best delight in providing high-quality food. The restaurant takes pleasure in employing high-quality ingredients imported straight from Japan, as their name in Japanese means “dandelion.” Iberico Pork Tomahawk and Wagyu Beef Set with Rice are both recommended.
