The Potong Pasir Community Club, home to several interest organizations, is located next to the Potong Pasir NEL station. The Denvers Cheerleading Group, an archery club, and an aero-modeling club are a few of the unusual ones. Potong Pasir Community Club is one of the few CCs in Singapore with its indoor archery range.
Modern line dancing started taking off seriously in the 1970s. In the 1980s, line dancing gained popularity across North America. Early in the 1990s, it had practically reached every English-speaking nation. By the late 1990s, it has also begun to take off in non-English-speaking countries. This course is offered at Pasir Community Club and includes topics for any dance fan;
- Do a line dance to country music.
- Follow the Latin line dances of Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, Pasodoble, and Jive;
- American line – A fusion of Country Line Dancing, Latin Line Dancing, and Social Dancing Moves from the Waltz, Tango, Mambo, Disco Rock, and Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Recreational Karaoke Pop Singing (Mandarin)
Not only may amateurs sing by understanding the foundations and using them correctly, but professional singers can also sing. As karaoke singing has grown in popularity, this course gets designed for all music fans and performers who wish to excel. All people who desire to go past their vocal limitations and advance their singing talent without undergoing a rigorous training regimen can benefit from this course. The basics of singing, breathing exercises, and diaphragm training will get covered by the participants. Additionally, they will study musical pace and pronunciation.
Children benefit from the course by getting a head start on learning colors, shapes, and lines and having the chance to interact with their peers and exercise their creative faculties. They will be encouraged to discuss their daily experiences to help them have fresh ideas for their drawings and to experiment with different Creative materials besides drawing and coloring.
Requirements – the minimum age to enroll in this program is 5. You must provide your drawing supplies. Bring large sticks of oil pastels, poster paint (Pentel or Sakura), pencils and erasers, a drawing block, black outline pencil if you’re a new sign-up.

Hui Choi Lin
Between 1970 and 1980, Hui Choi Lin performed with the People’s Association Singing Troupe. Since 1996, she has been a karaoke singing instructor.
Goh Chew Han
Sim Kwang Teck was the teacher of Goh Chew Han’s Western Art course. In 1997, he the 15 years of service award for teaching children’s art at CCs. He has been doing this since 1980. CCs have engaged him to serve as a judge in several coloring contests. Chew Han has a certificate in Fundamental Chinese Painting from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Tan Mann Ni Carolina
Since 1998, Carolina Tan has worked as an educator. She qualifies for associate line dancing from the United Kingdom Alliance.
