Everything to Know About Resorts World Sentosa Bus Terminal

On the island of Sentosa, there is a resort known as Resorts World Sentosa. We’ll refer to the complex’s expansive Subterranean carpark, which has several bus and coach parking facilities and passenger pick-up and drop-off locations, as Resorts World Sentosa Bus Terminal, serving the needs of bus services that travel to and from Resorts World Sentosa.

About Resorts World Sentosa Bus Terminal

A Bus Park, a Boarding and Alighting Point, and a Coach Bay are just a few bus facilities found in the Subterranean carpark, which opened in 2010 with Resorts World Sentosa Integrated Resort. Without mentioning the Resorts World Sentosa Bus Terminal, buses that stop at Resorts World Sentosa pick up and drop off passengers at the allocated passenger berths in the basement parking. In reality, buses stop at the Bus Park for rest periods.

Services provide

Sentosa Internal Bus routes A and C, RWS8, a daily shuttle service to HarbourFront, and various ad-hoc services to Johor Bahru serve Resorts World Sentosa.

Only specific days of the week used the public bus service to the station. NightRider services NR1 and NR6 ran on Friday and Saturday nights and the eve of public holidays, while Express Services 188R and 963R ran on weekends and holidays. Due to the COVID-19 scenario, these services get halted in April 2020 and formally discontinued in June 2022. 2017 saw changes to bus route123, which now only provides daily service in the direction of Beach Station to Resorts World Sentosa.

Bus Park

A portion of the coach park gets taken up by the bus park, which uses parallel parking spaces with red paint designated for Tong Tar buses (which run on RWS8) and public buses. Due to the unidirectional traffic flow design of the underground complex, terminating buses must make a substantial turn to go from the passenger alighting point to the bus park. A dispatch office (formerly used by SMRT Buses and now occupied by Tong Tar), restrooms, vending machines, and benches for bus drivers to rest are all located inside the bus park.

Point of Boarding or Arrival

Public Bus Service Number 123 passengers can board and disembark at a pick-up location outside the forum waiting areas. Passengers must cross at the pedestrian crossing to get to the pick-up location when leaving the venue. Due to easy boarding and strong passenger demand, the boarding and alighting point areas for Sentosa Bus route 1 & 2 and RWS8 are separate and located closer to the Convention Center. The Genting Hotel Shuttle has a unique boarding/egress station next to the parking lot.

Coach Bay

The Coach Bay has short layovers for coaches and waiting for lanes for passengers getting on/off the bus. The Transtar Cross Border Bus Service TS8, which runs regular trips to Johor Bahru and irregular services provided by the 707 Travel Group, board and disembark passengers there.

Users have the convenience of purchasing bus tickets online from buses that go from Resort World Sentosa. These buses offer service to and from Resort World Sentosa to several locations every day.
