Seletar Neighborhood

Know All About Seletar neighborhood
Seletar neighborhood, known for its military installation, has long been regarded as a tourist destination rather than a residential neighborhood. It’s only natural. Seletar is effectively the northern boundary of Singapore, immediately south of the Straits of Johor, and is a short distance north to Sengkang and west to Punggol. The Orang Seletar planning area, named after a once-indigenous Malay minority, is one of the few areas in Singapore to receive a distinct development direction.
Meta Description
Seletar neighborhood encompasses the lands south of Yishun, west of Sungei Punggol, the Lower Seletar Reservoir, and sections of Upper Thomson in Singapore’s northeastern region.
Stay
Despite having housed numerous bungalows for Royal Air Force troops, Seletar now lacks adequate living quarters. Most people wishing to settle down cannot access the government’s remaining 100 or above bungalows set aside for residential purposes.
Fortunately, the Seletar neighborhood gets surrounded by several additional precincts and established or expanded residential areas. Seletar is adjacent to Sengkang and Punggol, which are good places to live outside the city limits.
Drink
With a cold pint or a hot cup, you may appreciate the beautiful stillness of Seletar. There are no in-betweens, so the presence of drink experts is a godsend.
When it comes to the food that Jalan Kayu is famed for, Prata, Tang Tea House is an outlier. For tea and other meals, the institution is a fantastic choice. The shop also sells bobo cha cha and mango sago, which are popular dessert stall items.
Drinks at one of the eateries at Seletar Aerospace Park catch your curiosity. Nomad The Gallant is so knowledgeable about coffee that they have an on-site roasting facility and are considering selling barista equipment. Cold-brew teas and coffees get sold in the café.

Seletar also offers a variety of unique retail opportunities that are sure to entice you. Especially with this opportunity to go egg buying. Swee Leong Eggs Distributor, where you may buy eggs in bulk and wholesale, is a nostalgic stop.
