Tedge is a brand new freehold mixed development that is located inside the well known Telok Kurau and Changi Road enclave found in the eastern part of Singapore. The Tedge can be found on 328 Changi Road, Singapore 419803. It is situated at the heart of the vibrant District 15 and is surrounded by private low-rise residences. To the left of the Tedge is the dynamic lifestyle district of Joo Chiat and Katong. Meanwhile, to the south of the Tedge is the beloved East Coast Park and to the east is, of course, the world-famous Changi International Airport.

The Tedge’s location offers residents easy access to public transport with the Kembangan MRT station just a few minutes’ walk away. In addition, there are also several playgrounds and parks nearby that Tedge residents can visit and enjoy fun activities. Aside from the aforementioned East Coast Park, there is also the Telok Kurau Park, the Jalan Buloh Perindu Playground and the Greenfield Drive Playground.

Tedge Developer

The Tedge Condo is developed by world-renowned real estate developer Macly Group. Based in Singapore, the company was founded back in 1987 and is proud of its track record of being at the forefront of developing cluster housing, mixed-use development, apartment projects as well as condominiums. From 2004 to 2011, Macly Group took pride in launching and developing more than 20 projects in the country totaling over 1,000 commercial and residential units.

With its goal of providing the people with more affordable housing options, the Macly Group helped pioneers the concept of the “shoebox apartment” in the country. These are actually residential units that are compact and most importantly, affordable. The Macly Group launched the innovative idea in the development of Mackenzie 138, which was the company’s very first “shoebox apartment” back in 2004. The concept became so popular and was well-received that all the units got purchase within a month’s time.

Instead of resting on its laurels, the Macly Group continued to hash out more novel ideas and soon came up with a mechanized car parking apparatus, which was made to solve the carpark provisioning concerns of apartments.

In addition, the Macly Group also came up with private housing developments that were inexpensive but still provided considerable value. These were the Thomson V1, the Thomson V2, the Suites 123, the Suites @ Owen and the Soho 188.

With real estate prices in Singapore constantly surging, the Macly Group deemed it necessary to develop freehold apartments and soon launched and completed the likes of the Newton Edge, the Zedge, the Wilkie 80 and the Suites @ Amber. The aforementioned rise in real estate prices also led to Macly Group’s development of non-traditional areas such as Geyland, which can be found at the fringe of the city. In spite of its odd location, the project proved to be a hit, proof of which was the impressive sales record of both the Suites @ Siimes and the Sim Edge. All the units at these properties were sold out in just a month.

Aside from those, the Macly Group has also collaborated with the Roxy-Pacific Holding for a number of developments in other countries. The Infinitum, which can be found in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will soon rise later this year and will feature 31 commercial units and a whopping 723 small office home office (SOHO) units.

Another area the Macly Group is currently busy in is the hospitality sector with its involvement in the Cara Cara Inn over in Bali, Indonesia. Aside from that, the Macly Group also ushered in the Lloyd’s Inn, which is also in Bali. The group also launched the same in both Singapore and Malaysia.
