Perse College Preparatory School Dr. Stephen Perse, a fellow of Gonville and Caius College, founded Cambridge’s oldest surviving secondary school in 1615. He began his career as a theologian before becoming a medical lecturer practicing physician and made much of his money by investing in land and property and financing others’ ventures. Singapore gets chosen as the location for The Perse School’s first foreign branch. Strong collaboration ties with our Cambridge counterparts enable us to provide a challenging and comprehensive curriculum to ensure that our academic achievements mirror the famous educational experiences of The Perse School Singapore.

Curriculum:
The Perse School Singapore is a British school that follows the Cambridge International Primary Programme and will open for additional years in August 2022. Beginning in August 2022 with Year 7, the school will provide Key Stage 1 (ages 5 to 7), Key Stage 2 (ages 7 to 11), and Key Stage 3 (ages 11-13). There is a healthy mix of academic excellence and character development for each student. The Perse School Singapore offers a comprehensive and balanced academic curriculum with enough time for games, Cocurricular activities, and social development. Subject Specific Teachers begin teaching each subject in Year 3.

Extra-Curricular Activities:
Extra-Curricular Activities, or ECAs, are a vital aspect of life at The Perse. Active, Creative, and Academic ECAs are the three types of ECAs we provide.
Our students are encouraged to participate in at least one ECA every term throughout their academic years. We provide ECA sessions on a term basis to allow our students to enhance and expand their knowledge. Chess, Trinity Speech & Drama, and Scouts are core ECAs examples. Dodgeball, Multisport, Knitting, Debate Club, and many more ECAs are examples.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3.45 pm to 4.45 pm, the Extra-Curricular Activity Programs operate during lunchtime or after school.
Programs taught by our professors are usually free of charge. However, classes taught by other vendors cost between $140-$270 each term.
