Guide to Know About The Seletar Mall
The Seletar Mall comprises six levels of retail space, three levels of parking, 384 parking spots, and 188,000 square feet of net lettable area. It gets linked to the Fernvale Light Rail Transit (LRT) station, which conveniently connects to the Sengkang North-East Line (NEL) MRT / LRT station and the Sengkang bus interchange. The Central Expressway and Tampines Expressway (TPE) are just two expressways conveniently connected to The Seletar Mall (CTE).
In August 2012, SPH and United Engineers Ltd. were granted a 99-year lease of triangular land near the Furnwell LRT station and announced the construction of a new commercial complex. The Seletar Mall development, jointly planned by SPH and United Engineers Limited, began in late 2012 and was finished in late July 2014.
NTUC FairPrice Finest, NTUC Foodfare, and Shaw Theatres were three key tenants SPH announced it had secured in October 2013. Shaw Theatres, taking up 17,000 square feet on level 4, NTUC Foodfare, which used to be Haidilao Hotpot on level 3, and NTUC FairPrice Finest, which takes up 23,000 square feet in basement 1st are all occupied by NTUC.
Four stories and two basements make up the mall. About 30% of the mall has food and beverage establishments, including eateries like Starbucks Coffee and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which have since closed and get replaced by Gochi-So Shokudo. Additionally, it has the first Oki-Machi store in Singapore (since closed and taken over by Potato Corner). The mall gets recognized with the BCA Green Mark Gold designation as an environmentally friendly development with energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems and ecologically sustainable architectural elements.
Mall vouchers provide the ideal present for your loved ones for every occasion. The participating shops at Paragon, The Clementi Mall, and The Seletar Mall accept them, and they come in denominations of $5, $10, and $50. The Seletar Mall Information Counter is open from 10 am to 10 pm, where the vouchers can get purchased.
The Nursing Room at The Seletar Mall
The breastfeeding area at The Seletar Mall is roomy and exquisitely adorned with cartoon images of adorable baby animals. The space has two separate nursing rooms, a hot and cold water dispenser, a sink, a padded changing pad, and more. The lockable nursing rooms provide two electrical outlets, a baby holder, a long cushioned bench, and other features. It makes it easy for moms to express milk or nurse. Even though the nursing room’s lock mechanism gets broken, nursing women can still lock the private breastfeeding rooms to prevent getting watched when they nurse their children. A second nursing room at the Seletar Mall, now undergoing refurbishment, is situated in the shopping center’s Basement 1.
Visitors can reach the mall using the Sengkang LRT line’s west loop, located just adjacent to Fernvale LRT station. Bus routes 50, 163, 163A, 550, 592, 671, and 728 are other options for getting to the mall. Several neighboring expressways, including the Tampines Expressway (TPE) and the Central Expressway, allow motorists to access the mall (CTE).
