In 1996 a fire destroyed the hut and with generous donations by its devotees a new temple with brick walls and tiled roofs was built in 2000 at 62G Loyang Way. In 2007 the temple moved to its current location, which is less than 2 km away from its previous site. Loyang Tua Pek Kong Temple is one of the few temples in Singapore that has Hindu deities worshipped alongside Chinese deities, reflecting religious harmony in Singapore. Loyang Tua Pek Kong Temple is one of the few temples that is opened 24 hours for prayer.

Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity is a Roman Catholic church in Singapore. Its current address is 20 Tampines Street 11, Tampines New Town, Singapore 529455. It was built at a cost of S$8,000,000 and is uniquely designed, being built with features such as a waterfall within the church building itself. A columbarium was also incorporated into the design, with space for 1,400 niches. Thirty-seven acres of the Tampines New Town was itself built on land acquired in 1971 from the Catholic Mission.

The three-story building was designed as a fish, representing Jesus Christ in Christian iconography. The early Christians used the symbol of a fish to identify each other, as the Greek word for fish, “ichthys”, became an acrostic for “Iesous Christos Theou Yios Soter”, or Jesus Christ, Son of God, Saviour. The aquatic theme was also initially carried into the design of the church in the form of water fountains and a stream that flowed between the aisle. Some of those initial designs were eventually removed in subsequent renovations to cater to a rapidly expanding congregation.

How do I get into the preferred school of my choice?

Then, invest your savings and purchase your 2nd property, which will be considered your first purchase on paper, so no ABSD will be payable.

Note that there will always be a 35% ABSD for purchasing property under a trust from now on, so avoiding ABSD by buying under trust is impossible.

Alternatively, you won't be charged ABSD if you're investing in a commercial unit and collect rental, as they are exempt from ABSD. Tenant’s would have to pay rental stamp duty.
