Braddell Heights CC allows you to pursue your dreams. The CC offers various events and courses for you to choose from, whether you want to satisfy your enthusiasm for the arts, music, and culture or advance your culinary abilities.

Come check out some of the Braddell Heights Community Club socio-cultural events, such as the monthly movie screenings only open to PAssion Card holders and the Chinese cultural workshops. And the interest groups for the Chinese and Symphony Orchestras and the wildly popular men’s culinary interest club.

Conversational Mandarin

The course in conversational Mandarin seeks to acquaint participants with the fundamental language used in everyday talks. Students will learn a vocabulary of between 300 and 500 characters during the course. The emphasis is on using language and grammar properly in everyday conversations.

All racial groups should be able to have basic conversations in Mandarin (only for new beginners). $15 must get paid to the trainer in material fees.

Ballet (Children) – Primary

Participants interested in taking up ballet as a hobby can enroll in this session to learn more about ballet’s methods, proper posture, and improved body coordination.

For both new and current students, they offer these courses. Grade 1 ballet (for kids) (Age 6 & Above)

Aikido

The Japanese martial art of aikido gets developed by Morihei Ueshiba and depends on the ideas of universal harmony. The objective is to overcome the undesirable traits that reside in one’s mind and prevent it from operating normally. It incorporates effective self-defense techniques from sword and spear fighting, jujitsu, aikjutsu, and other traditional martial arts. It emphasizes the centralization of ideas and behaviors and the growth of mental capacity (qi). Aikido with a connected mind and body, as well as qi exercises, breathing exercises, and meditation, will be taught to participants.

Children aged 5 to 12 are eligible for this session.

Tots Ballet

Children take this course to learn the fundamental ballet postures and moves, such as the knee bend, point, walk in a circle, curtsey, rise, and port de bras. Children too young to begin the pre-primary ballet curriculum will benefit from this preparation.

Chinese Restaurant Cooking (Elementary – 4 Sessions)

Different cooking techniques for various restaurant dishes will get taught to the participants. They’ll also be able to taste the delicacies as they’re getting cooked!

Group to Join

Harmonica music Group

Prepare lovely Harmonica music for ensemble performances. Contact Mr. Ng Choong Seng at 9088 9897 if you can play other musical instruments, such as the drums. This group is accessible to people of all races. a PAssion Card Member is required. Location: Braddell Heights CC. Tuesdays, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Friday nights, distinct classes with a Mandarin Speaking Instructor get offered.

IAEC- English Reading Club for Children

between the ages of 4 and 10 can join. There are family income requirements. Braddell Heights CC is the location. Every Saturday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. (subjective to changes).
