Concourse:

Since October 2012, Buona Vista MRT Station has had Concourse TITAN fare gates installed. The unfunded corridor on the CCL concourse level lets people utilize the station as an underpass crossing beneath North Buona Vista Road without access to the rail network. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the TransitLink Concession Card Replacement Office on Level 1 is open. The transfer linkway connects the East-West Line with the Circle Line inside paid zones. From the CCL Concourse level (Basement 1), escalators and elevators link to the Transfer floor (Level 2), where another set of escalators and lifts connects to the EWL platform.

Platforms:

East-West Line (L4):

  • Platform A: East-West Line via EW20 Commonwealth to EW1 Pasir Ris
  • Platform B: East-West Line through EW22 Dover to EW33 Tuas Link

The raised East-West Line platform level at Buona Vista station features two platforms in an island platform design. Half-height Platform screen doors are built at the platform edge for commuter safety, while modified Pro-Jet fans keep passengers cool. A basic flat roof shelters the platform level, similar to many earlier stations along the Western side of the East-West Line, and the station gets painted with a single base color, which is Light Green for this station.

B2: Circle Line

  • Platform A: Circle Line via CC23 one north to CC29NE1 HarbourFront
  • Platform B: Circle Line through CC21 Holland Village to CC1NS24NE6 Dhoby Ghaut

The Circle Line platform gets built as an island platform with two platforms with full-height Platform screen doors isolating the air-conditioned station from the underground environment, improving commuter safety and station comfort. The platform level gets connected to the concourse level one floor above through escalators, stairs, and a lift. The concourse creates a large internal area that offers the appearance of spaciousness by looping around the platform. The platforms of CCL interchange stations such as Buona Vista are wide to accommodate more people.
