District 18 Singapore

Reasons to choose District 18 Singapore.

District 18 Singapore is likely the third-largest new city on Singapore’s sunny island. Tampines is an eastern city with many inhabitants seeking more spacious living with somewhat larger or less expensive real estate units. Tampines used to be home to marshes and rubber plantations. Since then, District 18 Singapore has gone a long way with new landmark developments from famous developers such as The Tapestry. Tampines is also one of four regional hubs identified as part of the URA’s master plan to decongest the CBD area and equitably disperse work and planning possibilities around the island. The sea, however, is no longer visible from Shimei due to land development in the vicinity. Naming Simei is after a Chinese artwork of four beauties: Simei means “four beauty” in Chinese.

Given the vibrant atmosphere and urban expansion of the 18th arrondissement, which ringed Tampines like a rubber plantation in the 19th century, this might be threatening. Tampines was for the Tampines tree that encircled the region and was on Franklin and Jackson’s 1828 map. Pasir Ris began as a little town in the nineteenth century. United Singapore Plantations, Loh Lam Estate, Hun Yeang, and Thai Min Estates were among the several plantations in the region.
