Outram Park MRT

Everything you need to know about the Outram Park MRT
The Bukit Merah and Outram planning districts get served by the Outram Park MRT Station. The station is located at the junction of Outram Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, and New Bridge Road and links the East-West and North-East lines (NEL). The station connects the Outram Medical Campus, Pearl’s Hill, and other projects along Cantonment Road, notably the Police Cantonment Complex, to the train network. The Singapore General Hospital, Outram Polyclinic, Singapore National Eye Centre, National Dental Centre, National Heart Centre, Health Promotion Board, Health Sciences Authority, Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, and other specialty medical centers are all located on the Outram Medical Campus. The Outram Park MRT and its environs get inspired by Sir James Outram, a British officer, and Outram Park will be a Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) interchange station with the station number EW16NE3TE17 By 2022. As a three-line interchange station, it will connect MRT stations Dhoby Ghaut and Marina Bay. The TEL station was supposed to be finished and open in 2021. However, as stated in the SMRT Operations Review 2020, it has been postponed until 2022.
Meta description:
MRT station at Outram Park 12 December 1987 (East-West line), 20 June 2003 (North-East line), Early June 2022 (Thomson–East Coastline)
Platforms:
Platforms Escalators, staircases, and lifts link all platforms to their respective station concourses. A transfer linkway connects the EWL and NEL stations at Basement 3, connecting the EWL platforms on one end and the NEL concourse other. Because the train will finish at Outram Park MRT Station during the NSEWL western region shutdown, it will turn at the middle track west of Outram Park MRT Station. From December 1987 to March 1988, again from May 2008 to July 2014, this gets utilized (SMRT Lunchtime Xpress).
When they rush individuals out of the station, customers may still board at the Outram Park westbound platform, but do not post your experience on Facebook or YouTube to avoid jail terms.
Concourse:
Although there is an underground link between the East-West Line and the North-East Line parts of the station, there is none between the unpaid areas. As a result, customers exiting an East-West Line train who desire to avoid the North East Line ticket gates should use the paid area link to the North-East Line concourse and the fee gates there. Alternatively, the traveler can disembark the East-West Line and walk to his preferred destination, crossing the traffic intersection if needed.
