CHIJ Secondary Toa Payoh
Everything You Need To Know About The CHIJ Secondary Toa Payoh
CHIJ Secondary Toa Payoh school of the Holy Infant Jesus, a new religious order. Nicolas Barré was beatified by Pope John Paul II on March 7, 1999, in Rome, after three days of prayerful joy. Nicolas Barré was born in Amiens, France, in 1621 and educated in a Jesuit college in his hometown. At 19, he decided to devote his life to God and joined the Minims, a monastic order created by St Francis of Paola. In 1666, Fr Barré saw the necessity for the sisters to form a spiritual link to combat growing criticism from other ‘writing masters’ or professors of the day.
