Under the supervision of Mr. Raja Rajendra, Chua Chu Kang Primary School began operations on 2 January 1994 with 400 children from Primary One to Primary Four, utilising South View Primary School as a holding site. Mr. Tan Boon Chee get named as the school’s vice-principal. The school gets recognized for its participation in the “Our Heart for Singapore” at the National Museum of Singapore. The Chua Chu Kang Primary School received a Certificate of Appreciation for ‘Our Heart for Singapore NDP 2020, Together, A Stronger Singapore’ and a Certificate of Recognition for ‘Our Heart for Singapore NDP 2021, Together, Our Singapore Spirit’.

At CCKPS, we get dedicated to empowering our students to become Confident, Competent, and Creative Leaders. We allow students to enjoy and excel in their studies, bringing out the best of them. The Chua Chu Kang Primary School principles of Integrity, Care, Respect, and Resilience get instilled in our children (ICR2). Co-curricular activity (CCA):
All students in Primary 3 through Primary 6 are highly encouraged to participate in at least ONE of the following activities. Extracurricular activities (CCA). CCA is critical to ensure that your kid or ward has a well-rounded education during his six years in primary school. In Term 1, Primary 3 students will have the option of choosing a CCA. Chua Chu Kang Primary School provides comprehensive primary education in English, mathematics, science, and mother tongue languages. MRL, PE, Aesthetics, ICT, Discipline, and Character & Citizenship Education are just a few courses to help students develop their abilities and talents.
The school focuses on the children’s whole development through the formal and informal curricula to achieve the desired educational results. In 2006, the school recognized video technology in teaching and learning with the LEAD [email protected] Scheme. The school got the Orchid Award for the 2005/2006 School Green Audit Awards after recertifying under the People Developer Standard in 2005. The Robotics Team won the Overall Championship in the 2006 National Junior Robotics Competitions, second place in the Best Presentation Award, third place in the Best Research Award, first place in the Most Creative Journal Award, and second place in the Best Mechanical Design Award.
