District 22 Singapore is located in Singapore’s western sector and is well-known for its industrial and residential neighbourhoods. However, when we travel from District 22 Singapore farther into the neighbourhood, we will find more recreational alternatives, such as a golf course and an ice skating rink. Several HDB flats and condominiums are available here, including The Lakeshore and Lakeville.

Boon Lay, named after a renowned late nineteenth and early twentieth-century landowner, Mr.Chew Boon Lay, has converted from a marshy wilderness into Singapore’s first industrial region, with its first plant, National Iron and Steel Mills. Jurong Hill Park, which gives 360-degree views of Jurong from its purposefully created spiral tower, is one of the attractions in Boon Lay. The Garden of Fame, located at the hill summit, was established by significant political personalities, including Queen Elizabeth II, President Suharto, and President Benjamin Henry Sheares.
Jurong:
Mostly, Jurong is of the Jurong Industrial Estate, which serves the working class. On the other hand, the District 22 Singapore government has altered the Lake Jurong district to make it more dynamic for visitors and locals by adding lakefront hotels, parks, and playgrounds. Build JCube, a new mall with an Olympic-sized ice rink, and a 24-kilometer network of park linkages from Bukit Batok to MRT Jurong East Station. Two new public housing complexes, totaling 1,200 new houses, will also be revealed to Singaporeans.
Tuas:
Tuas, which is with heavy industry, is another prime industrial center in addition to Jurong. Several international enterprises in the neighborhood, including Sony, Hitachi, Compact, and Epson. Singapore Tin Industries and the Tuas Incineration Plant are also nearby. Tuas Biotechnology Park is also one of the few industrial parks in District 22. It’s no surprise that there are several mismatched Caucasians here, considering Raffles Country Club is near here.

Jurong Hill Park, which offers 360-degree views of Jurong from its spiral tower, is one of the attractions in Boon Lay. The Garden of Fame, a green counterpart of the Walk of Fame, is located at the hill, where prominent guests such as Queen Elizabeth II, President Suharto, and President Benjamin Henry Sheares planted plants. There’s also the Jurong Bird Park, one of the world’s largest bird parks, with 9,000 birds and 600 kinds. Chocolate enthusiasts may enjoy the tastes of the world’s largest chocolate producer, Barry Callebaut, in Boon Lay.

Raffles Country Club, the district’s best and most costly club, is located in Tuas.
Transportation:
The region is served by Lakeside MRT and Boon Lay MRT stations, while Bus Interchange provides 30 bus connections to various parts of Singapore. Additional Malaysian Interstate Express buses serve routes into Malaysia and are in the old Savoy Cinema.
