English
The English Congregation Management Committee, the Ministry Staff, and the Congregational Pastor serve the congregation (ECMC). Most of the congregation members are working people between the ages of 25 and 60, with the majority in their 30s and 50s. There are many families with younger children there, which is not surprising. The objectives of God for His people—Word, Fellowship, Prayer, Worship, Evangelism, and Wonders— motivate a thriving church (Acts 2:42-47). Different approaches to assisting people in comprehending, applying, and living out the intentions of God get adopted in the nurturing atmosphere of the church family. By the power of the Holy Spirit acting in and through each person, they wish to see members transformed into the likeness of Christ.
Youth
Kum Yan Methodist Church’s thriving youth and young adult community is called Youth Connection (YC). Worship God and be changed by the Word’s and the Holy Spirit’s work to change the world.
We are a group of individuals whose lives get changed by the tremendous love of God. We get dedicated to working together as we grow into and raise generations of godly men and women eager to express and experience God’s kingdom established on earth as it is in heaven. With hearts full of thanksgiving.
KYdZ
To disciple children to be obedient to and passionate about Jesus as they come into a life-transforming loving connection with Him and equip them to touch people’s lives wherever they are, KYdZ Ministry exists to nurture children by God’s everlasting Word.
Deuteronomy 6:4–9, Matthew 28:18–20, Mark 10:13–16, and 2 Timothy 3:16–17 serve as the ministry’s guiding principles. KYdZ operates to give the kids a comprehensive approach to a godly life. Programs get designed to meet the children’s spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical, and social requirements. Since parents are the primary teachers of their children, KYdZ Ministry gets dedicated to involving, educating, empowering, and motivating them.
