Investment Banking as a Group

RHB Investment Bank is a major participant in Malaysia’s capital markets. Group Investment Banking, backed by an award-winning research team of experienced product specialists, provides a full range of investment banking products and services for both institutional and retail clients, including advisory (corporate & debt restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers), fundraising via both equity and debt instruments, and secondary markets including securities trading. The group’s regional platforms are used by the team to deliver cross-border transactional services to customers throughout ASEAN.

Corporate clients whose shares are listed on stock exchanges locally and/or abroad, multinational companies, the government and government agencies, and government-linked companies all benefit from Group Corporate Banking’s comprehensive suite of conventional and Shariah-compliant financing solutions. Working capital finance, trade financing, foreign currency hedging, project financing and syndication, and corporate exercise funding are among the financial services offered. GTGM provides a comprehensive range of treasury products and services, including foreign exchange (“FX”), derivatives, capital markets, structured products, money market investments, and Islamic Treasury products, to meet the hedging and investment needs of our diverse customers in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. We are also in charge of managing the Group’s liquidity and finance requirements, as well as investing surplus cash and money to improve the Group’s profits.

Asset Management for a Group

The Asset Management pillar is responsible for a wide range of investment services and products, including unit trust fund management, investment management advising, private mandates, product development, and trustee services.

Banking for Business
