Know More About The Seng Kang Secondary School

Seng Kang Secondary School, which opened on January 4, 1999, was the first secondary school in the Sengkang housing complex. Before moving to its current home at 10 Compassvale Lane, the school gets headquartered at the old Hai Sing Girls’ High at 1192 Upper Serangoon Road until March 1999. The school began with a teaching team of four Heads of Departments (HODs) and ten instructors, led by Mdm Ng Shok Yan, the first Principal. There were seven secondary classrooms, with a total of 283 students. ‘The Seng Kang Secondary School learner is morally upright, thinks creatively, and puts family, school, and nation above self,’ reads the school’s inaugural mission statement.

Seng Kang Secondary School is to deliver a Student-Centric, Values-Driven (SVE) education that encourages each student to reach their full potential, based on the conviction that every kid matters and can learn.
