Guide to know about the Canberra Primary School

Canberra Primary School first opened its doors in January of 2000. The school gets named after the former Canberra School, which closed in 1988. In November of 2000, the school relocated to its current location. It meets the educational demands of the new Sembawang Estate’s student population.

The Canberra Primary School now has 1380 students enrolled and operates as a single session. The school administration and the staff strive to improve each student’s character and strengthen their ability and potential. Each of the school’s instructors is encouraged to have a love for teaching and a dedication to excellence.

Philosophy, culture, and ethos in the classroom

At Canberra Primary, we strive to provide a high-quality, comprehensive educational experience for all our students to maximize each child’s potential. The notion that every Canberran can achieve, regardless of their starting place, plays an essential role in establishing our school’s culture and students’ teaching and learning experiences. These events exemplify the Canberra Primary School  Experience strives to provide for our students.

Values are also essential in defining and supporting our students’ growth as “innovative, compassionate, and responsible citizens who aspire for greatness through self-discipline and collaboration.” Our students’ overall development depends on a values-based education, which is still at the heart of their Canberra experience.
