Corporation Primary School first opened its doors in 1975. Mr. Tang See Chim, then Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament for Choa Chu Kang, declared it open on October 7, 1976. The Corporation Primary School was relocated from Boon Lay Avenue to a new structure at Jurong West Street 24 on November 16, 2001. On July 8, 2003, the school celebrated the formal launch of its new campus.The school’s historical corner get launched on September 12, 2008. The particular hub gets designed to assist our students and teachers in comprehending and appreciating the school’s previous history and understanding how it has influenced the present and future.

The Curriculum:

English, Science, Mathematics, and Mother Tongue languages get offered at the Corporation Primary School. CCE, CCA, PAM, ICT, and Dance LLP are all available at the school.

My School Shines@South West received a gold award. The 2012 Char Yong Cup (Individual) Chinese Chess Tournament awarded him first place. The 2006 Bishan Cup Inter-Primary School Chinese Chess Tournament awarded first and second prizes. At the 1st West Zone Chinese Chess Competition, I placed 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The International Peace Cup Painting & Calligraphy Arts Joint Exhibition awarded one gold, one silver, and five bronze medals. Silver CHERISH Award (2012).

Co-curricular activities:

Co-curricular activities are an essential element of the school’s goal of providing our students with a well-rounded education. As a result, every student from P3 onwards must engage in at least one Co-curricular activity during his primary school years.
