Learn more about the District 7 Singapore

District 7 Singapore is now a thriving hub for shopping and other economic activities, thanks to its little pockets of arts, culture, and learning. Furthermore, the neighborhood has become a hotspot for residential buildings, with new releases such as DUO Residences, the South Beach development, and the Concourse Skyline, which affords panoramic views of the Waterfront Gardens and the District 7 Singapore Flyer. The new Downtown Line is also nearing completion, and as such, it may view as a revitalization plan with significant potential financial gains that appeal to purchasers.

The Bugis MRT, Esplanade MRT, Nicoll Highway MRT, Promenade MRT, and the forthcoming Rochor MRT stations are accessible through the Circle Line, East-West Line, and Downtown Line, making it ideal for those wishing to travel from home to work during the week.

The Historic Beach Road:

Beach Route was once a coastal road that ran parallel to the sea during the early arrival of British colonists, thus the name. According to George Drumgoole Coleman’s 1836 Map of Singapore, it was one of the first roads built in Singapore. Seaside houses rose majestically surrounding this region until the 1870s and 1880s, as envisioned by Sir Stamford Raffles’ 1822 Town Plan, which envisioned Beach Road as the home of European merchants.
