Students will also be encouraged to have a sense of purpose for career options and are interested in taking chances in pursuing their goals and working hard.
Media Literacy@KCPSS
Students nowadays live in a media-saturated world. The amount of time people spend watching and listening to the media is steadily increasing. As a result, kids must have the critical thinking and analysis abilities they’ll need to analyse and comprehend various media messages and formats.
KCPSS’s media literacy program aims to foster nuanced thinking about media messages and the makers of those messages, and their goals and ideals. The curriculum goal is to prepare KCPians to be responsible media users and creators, including successful media participants.
Structured Training Programme for Student Leaders
There are formal training programs for student leaders in the Student Leadership Board, CCAs, and other-positional leaders, such as class monitors.
They foster an empowering culture, particularly among student leaders, and provide opportunities for them to succeed through school service. In the Student Leadership Board, twice-yearly student leadership camps (SLC) get organised with this goal in mind. Each student leader goes through a gradual training cycle that covers everything from organisational skills to communicating with each SLC they attend.
