All you need to know about the Xishan Primary School

Si San Public School was established in 1937 to give children in Chong Pang Village, Sembawang District, a Chinese medium education. Si San is a literal translation of “West Hill,” which provides to her by the school. At Seletar’s twelfth milestone, Westhill Village was located directly across from the Sembawang Aerodrome. Xishan Primary School get renamed and granted the Hanyu Pinyin appellation of Xishan. In 1986, it started providing Chinese, Malay, and Tamil as second languages. Xishan Primary School played an essential role in bringing pupils from many ethnic backgrounds together.

The cornerstone of providing a welcoming atmosphere for Xishanites to explore and take advantage of the wealth of chances is our motto: Love, Care, and Share. These chances are crucial to Xishan’s student-centered, values-driven education. Our Empowerment through Sports Education (LLP) seeks to provide every student with mental skills that will help them develop a positive attitude and direct by positive habits of mind to display excellent values and strong character. Pupils’ mental skill learning and practice will reflect their carriage, mindsets, and demeanor. Build their competencies to meet various situations they may encounter in life, as delivered through our Xishan’s Physical Education curriculum and Sports & Games modules get integrated into the school’s whole curriculum. Environmental education is a cornerstone of the school’s mission to instill a strong sense of community responsibility, instill values, and conserve natural resources.

School Rules:

  1. The 3Ps must follow by students (Punctuality, Proper Attire, and Proper Behaviour).
  2. Students must take good care of school property and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  3. Students must live up to the school motto: LOVE, CARE, and SHARE.
  4. Students are not permitted to bring to school the following items:
  • Toys and associated electronic products, such as cell phones, MP3 players, iPods, tablets, and smartwatches.
  • Any other materials that may cause harm or injury to oneself or others.
  1. Students are not permitted to have any weapons in their possession. They get also prohibited from bringing any weapon or a weapon-like object intended to be used to harm others.
