Learn More About The Bendemeer Primary School

Bendemeer Primary School first opened its doors in 1977 and was officially opened in March 1978 by Mr. Sidek Saniff, Member of Parliament for Kolam Ayer. In January 2004, the school amalgamated with Beng Wan Primary School under PRIME. Balestier Hill Primary School was founded in January 2002 when Moulmein Primary School and Swiss Cottage Primary School merged to form Balestier Hill Primary School. Mr. Khaw Boon Wan, Minister of Health, proclaimed the school open in November 2004. Bendemeer and Balestier Hill Primary Schools combined in 2019 to become the new Bendemeer Primary School. We aim to encourage and motivate each student to achieve their full potential.

Curriculum:

The Student Leadership Programme and TEMPO are two of Bendemeer’s Learning for Life Programmes (LLPs), which educate students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings while also building character and social-emotional abilities. The Learning Help Programme for Mathematics (LSM) provides fundamental numeracy skills and information to pupils in Primary 1 and 2 for eight sessions each week.
