School Philosophy, Culture, and Ethos:

Clementi Primary School (CTP) believes that one’s abilities and traits may develop through hard work and dedication. “Every Clementian Can Learn,” our professors instil in our students the notion that “Every Clementian Can Learn.” Clementines are urged to encourage one another, assist one another to improve, and recognize one another’s successes.  Clementi Primary School believes that all students should support learning regardless of their ethnic, social, or linguistic diversity. We establish high standards for academic and non-academic subjects taught throughout curriculum time to motivate Clementians to lead with integrity, strive for greatness, and be kind to all.

School vision:

The Curriculum:

Clementi Primary School provides English, Mathematics, Science, and Mother Tongue Languages as academic subjects. PE, Art & Music, and Social Studies are also departments.

Programs for Active Learning (PAL):

PAL helps students move smoothly from pre-school to primary school. PAL emphasises learning via hands-on activities, having fun and delight in the learning, and continual chances for peer interaction and self-discovery for Primary 1 and 2 students. PAL strives to assist students’ social-emotional competencies while facilitating their overall growth in the five learning areas (cognitive, moral, social, aesthetic, and physical). All Primary 1 and 2 students at Clementi Primary School participate in PAL modules as part of their holistic education during the school day. PAL modules expose students to various subjects, including Performing and Visual Arts, Sports and Games, and Outdoor Education.

Co-Curricular Activities:

CCA is held every Tuesday from 7.30 am to 9.15 am during curriculum time at Clementi Primary School. External locations such as Clementi Sports Hall and Clementi Stadium get used to promote student involvement during curricular CCA on Tuesday mornings. Some CCAs have after-school training sessions (these CCAs get marked with a *). If you have any questions about the CCAs, contact the appropriate CCA professor through email.
