Clementi Town Secondary School, get located in the heart of Clementi, began growing in 1980 under the kind guidance of our first principal, Ms Kan Sou Tin. Since then, students get affectionately referred to as Clementeens. Mrs Tan supports greater and deeper alumni commitment, and CTSSA has developed healthily, dedication to maintaining Clementi Town Secondary School as the “one big family” we have always desired to be. Since 2009, the school has produced five school-wide musicals; the most recently get performed at Victoria Theatre in 2016.

We think that every Clementeen may aspire and grow in character, citizenship, and talents as part of our Clementi Town Secondary School path to greatness. We always try to instil the school principles of ‘Adaptability, Self-Discipline, Perseverance, Integrity, Respect, and Empathy’ (ASPIRE) in every Clementine so that they are future-ready in a loving atmosphere and conjunction with parents and the community. We aim for a passionate, creative, and engaged workforce with a strong culture of lifelong learning and collegiality in our employee development. We think that instructors are the key to unlocking our students’ enthusiasm and potential and that leaders are the change agents.

This framework guarantee that students understand the significance of what they’re learning to help them become intrinsically motivated and self-directed to emphasise the value of deep learning. All learning in a supportive peer environment with a strong teacher-student connection. The school allocates time in the curriculum for weekly one-on-one teacher-student contacts to encourage the development of good teacher-student connections. Students are also divided into three groups in this T&L framework: core, support, and talent, so that their requirements may handle.
