All You Need To Know About The Fuhua Secondary School

Fuhua Secondary School has had a vertical garden in operation since June 2021, allowing Fuhuanites to contribute to the realization of the Singapore Green Plan 2030. It will contribute to the MOE’s Eco Stewardship Program’s goal of transforming Fuhuanites into environmental stewards. The above will reinforce the school’s cornerstone of teaching and learning programs to cultivate Outstanding, Upstanding, and Ready for the Future Fuhuanites who will embrace all that 2022 offers. Fuhuanites faced the difficulties of 2021 with zeal and commitment. The students and faculty stayed on track to achieve several firsts in the school’s history. Kenneth Tan Kai Xuan and Wayne Soh Kai represented the school well when they won the Overall Champion at Republic Polytechnic’s Food and Beverage Entrepreneurship Competition 2021 with their delectable fusion concoction Prata Brutal and appealing business plan. The school’s Head of Department of Science, Mrs Wong Kexin, was one of three recipients of the Outstanding Science Teacher Award 2021. These accomplishments demonstrate the faculty and students’ dedication to the school’s motto, Strive for Excellence, and staying the course as they adjust to the new normal.

Distinctive Programmes:

The Applied Learning Programme (ALP) and the Learning for Life Programme are two of the school’s unique programs (LLP). These two programs allow all students to develop their abilities and interests to make learning relevant and engaging. Forensic Science is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concentration of the ALP. Community and Youth Leadership (CYL): Leadership through Service is the focus of the LLP.
