School history

The Singapore Buddhist Federation established the school at 149 Sims Drive in Singapore 387380 in 1982. The school relocated in 2009 to a new campus at 20 Ubi Avenue 1, which opened on April 22, 2010. The school was able to share resources with Maha Bodhi School, its connected primary school. The former campus gets still occupied by James Cook University Singapore, and its buildings are still in use.

In April 2012, in conjunction with the school’s 30th anniversary, the annual school anniversary concert was held at the LASALLE College of the Arts. And the school hosted a homecoming banquet in November for former and present employees and students, with Education Minister Heng Swee Keat as the honoured guest.
