North View Primary School

What are the curriculum and co-curricular activities of North View Primary School?
The slogan of North View Primary School is “We are Full-House,” which expresses our value proposition and promises to our stakeholders that we will be a school that promotes an environment that allows each child to fulfill their full potential. North View Primary School plan to accomplish the following three school-wide essential outcomes: Pupils with development, Engrossed students, and sympathetic Students.
Meta description:
North View Primary School welcomed its first students in 1995. Mr. Lawrence Chong was the principal of this institution from 1995 until 1999.
Curriculum:
We employ a broad-based technique to construct metacognitive developmental programs to help our students develop into well-cultivated and critical thinkers. It covers programming ideas learned via Robotics investigative problem-solving abilities learned through our Spatial Visualization curriculum. Through the combination of the Future Problem Solving 6-steps procedure and Project Work, students acquire and build a problem-solving cognitive disposition.
Character development opportunities offer our students through our unique Traditional Arts Character Development program explicit instruction and reflective learning of values. Pupils internalize and expand their grasp of principles while participating in ancient art forms such as calligraphy and Chinese brush painting. The North View Primary School has a structured leadership curriculum to help students become self-assured and self-directed leaders willing to serve others. During their six years at the school, all students participate in a school-based personal leadership program. Different segments of student leaders get given skill-based development programs to prepare them for their functional duties and leadership.
Our LLP, “Every Pupil a Confident Performer,” provides a broad-based exposure to the Performing Arts to help our students develop lifelong learning dispositions. Our students learn progressive skill sets to boost their confidence and composure, such as body movement, gestures, speaking, singing on stage, and academic combination and co-curricular activities. Our Primary six pupils put on a musical to round off the 6-year development curriculum.
