It has an Applied Learning Program (ALP) that aims to build computational and logical thinking in students through digital skills to address real-world problems. Students may study and enjoy many art forms like music, photography, ceramics, and batik painting through the school’s Learning for Life Programme (LLP), which focuses on Visual and Performing Art. North Vista Primary School can also work creatively and cooperatively to complete the tasks assigned.

Curriculum:

  • The Applied Learning Program seeks to enhance students’ 21st Century Competencies by utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) to prepare them for the future. The school has established a systematic strategy to provide students with ICT tools to communicate and express their opinions in various ways, including Visual Arts, 3-D objects, Sports and Health, and Integrated Project Work.
  • The Visual Arts curriculum, which is part of the Learning for Life Programme, guarantees that each child’s voice is heard, with chances for pupils to express their creativity via a variety of mediums and activities. Students are encouraged to think, revise, create, negotiate, develop, and symbolically communicate their ideas in various ways as part of the curriculum. Students use their artwork to share their tales and experiences.
  • IPW (Integrated Project Work) is a structured curriculum that allows students to research broad subjects assigned to the levels. Through supervision and facilitation sessions, teachers encourage students to explore. Within time, students are allotted an hour each week for half a semester to work on their projects.

Co-curricular activities :

North Vista Primary School’s co-curricular framework offers pupils the opportunity to develop knowledge through a wide range of relevant experiences and various courses and platforms to succeed. The availability of mass involvement opportunities and routes for excellence are fundamental pillars of this framework for achieving this goal. It gives the co-curricular experience not just width but also depth. The CCA framework is an essential part of a whole-school approach to Character and Citizenship Education, in child’s cognitive, moral, social and emotional, physical, and aesthetic domains are all developed holistically.
