Crest of the school:
Springdale Primary School (康德小学) is by a dignified eagle in the shape of the letter “S.” He remains strong and faithful to his aim despite changes and setbacks. As a result, Springdalites ascend with unstoppable speed. The wavy blue strokes are reminiscent of a river flowing in spring when life emerges. The river’s meandering offers vitality and growth to the region. It exemplifies the Springdalites’ potential as they travel through life’s various terrains, carving down valleys and canyons and leaving their imprint everywhere. The three-leaf clover symbolizes the HomeSchoolCommunity partnership’s joint duty in whole child education.

We see Springdale Elementary School as the cradle where play embodies exploration. And experiential learning will fire the pupils’ minds, based on Tony Wagner’s study into growing youth into innovators. The desire to study develops into a stronger feeling of purpose with time. We think that every Springdalelite will experience a rewarding Springdale Learning Experience (SLE) while they learn.
School Rules and Regulations:
An Educational Approach:
- Students in Singapore should sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Pupils will take the Pledge with their fists over their hearts.
- Students are to wear the approved college uniform, and changes to the uniform are not usually permitted.
Grooming and attire:
- Pupils should wear the college uniform while they are inside the college grounds and when they are representing the college in outside competitions/activities.
- Pupils should only wear PE clothing on days when they have PE classes, PAL courses, or learning expeditions.
Active Learning Program (PAL):
The Active Learning Program (PAL) is a Department of Education project. During PAL, P1, and P2, children are exposed to and experience various activities that enhance their holistic development in the physical, cognitive, social, aesthetic, and moral domains. The prime goal of PAL is to give pupils numerous avenues for developing social-emotional skills. Each week, four hours for PAL instruction.
Co-Curricular Activities (CCA):
As part of the school’s Co-Curricular Programs (CCP), Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) are to enhance students’ attitudes, skills, and knowledge (ASK) in the cognitive, physical, and aesthetic domains. CCA will also offer a common area for friendship and social integration, enhancing students’ feeling of identity and belonging to the school.
Innovation Program (IvP):
The Innovation Program (IvP) is a Department of Education project that seeks to give students a one-of-a-kind chance to hone their problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Students learn to be empathic change agents by finding problems in their daily lives, using various brainstorming techniques to solve those problems, and constructing prototypes to fix those problems.
