Yu Neng Primary School

Guide to know about the Yu Neng Primary School
In 1934, the late Mr. Huang Hua Long, together with four other villagers, took up the raising and teaching the children task. They managed to construct a zinc and attap school named Yeu Nerng School, with few resources. Yeu Nerng Public School has been steadily improving throughout the years. To accommodate the city’s rapidly growing population, it relocated to Bedok North Street 3 in 1982. After shifting its status from aided to government, the school was called “Yu Neng Primary School.” The school will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2015, making it a memorable year. Yu Neng continues to expand and strive toward its Light Up and Shine slogan thanks to its rich history, solid foundation, values, and principles.
