Every student will participate in the NAPS holistic education program, which will help them develop their cognitive, moral, social, physical, and artistic potential. Students participate in various programs and activities to learn and expand in many areas to fulfill their different types of learning requirements, interests, and abilities. The school’s whole curriculum emphasizes values-based education. Furthermore, organizations and processes get established to strengthen the element of care so that each child’s well-being is better protected.

The Ngee Ann Primary School is improving its Student-Centered, Values-Driven Education techniques to develop students’ fundamental competencies and help them flourish in the twenty-first century. Simultaneously, the school will continue to prepare teachers for professional greatness and involve the school’s stakeholders to nurture each kid to his full potential and work toward the school’s goal of an exceptional school and a loving community.

Curriculum:

 Unique Programmes and Services

The Olympiad program, which aims to enhance the talents of selected exceptional kids in Mathematics in problem-solving, is part of the Special Math Program at Ngee Ann Primary School. To prepare for Math competitions, they will go through planned training sessions. Students get taught to appreciate greenery through the “Each Child a Seed” program, which allows them to nurture their plants. Excellence 2000 Science (E2K) is an after-school enrichment program for kids who excel in science on Wednesdays. Chillax Session is a program in which P6 students may engage in activities that will help them relax after a long day of tests. It also acts as a reminder to kids that the school cares about their mental and emotional well-being.

Students are exposed to many genres of Visual and Performing Arts through the PAL (Program for Active Learning) and NAME (Ngee Ann Modular Enrichment) Programs to develop their interest in Aesthetics.

School Regulations:

  • Singaporean students are required to sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. The promise will take with the right fist over the heart of the students.
  • Pupils must wear the school uniform as prescribed, with no modifications permitted.
  • Students must be on time for school and all activities.
  • Students must be proud of their work and submit it on time.
  • Pupils are responsible for keeping the school grounds clean at all times.
  • Pupils must respect all school property and refrain from taking anything that does not belong to them.
  • Pupils are not permitted to run or play in the corridors everywhere.
  • Pupils must be well-behaved both within and outside of the classroom.
  • Respectful behavior gets expected of all students at all times.
